For 34 years Abravanel has served as home for the Utah Symphony and has hosted world famous performers, acts and companies. In September you’ll be on the stage that has seen famous musicians like Jethro Tull and Lenny Kravitz, legendary comedians including Jerry Seinfeld and George Carlin, lectures from noted individuals such as Jane Goodall and Michael Pollan, and numerous symphonies, ballets, and other classical performances.
An architectural landmark, Abravanel was renovated and expanded in 1998 and features a fabulous four story lobby, replete in white oak and brass. Marvel at The Olympic Tower, a magnificent 30 foot high blown-glass sculpture by the renowned artist Dale Chihuly.
